1988
Incorporated and started operations.
1989
Worked on system engineering in Power electronics & servicing of UPS Systems. Provided system solutions for the power requirements of commercial and industrial market.
1990
Started development of Servo stabilizers, started delivering 1KVA to 5KVA servo stabilizer to the commercial market, under the brand name Delta power.
1991
Manufactured 125 KVA servo stabilizer for CNC Machine for M/s. Hirsch Watch Straps Pvt Ltd. This installation helped the company to position itself among higher rating stabilizer manufacturers.
Started working on Off Line UPS designs and proto tested the products in various sites.
1992
Breakthrough product of 200 KVA Air cooled Servo stabilizer to M/s. Hindustan Lever Ltd. Even today, very few vendors can offer Air cooled versions of Servo stabilizer in 200 KVA range. This system is a symbol of dubas product quality, having completed continuous duty cycle of last 20 years.
1993
Started getting traction in the market as a reliable vendor for Offline UPS Systems.
Started the development activity of battery chargers for Industrial market and got the units installed in few test sites.
1994
Supplied the first set of 27 Battery chargers of rating 24V-30Amps to M/s. ABB for installations at OIL India spread across Assam. This was also a hall mark of performance as battery charger systems were supporting the Critical Telemetry applications at 9 Pumping stations of OIL India’s Crude oil pipeline.
1995
Started the development of ONLINE UPS Systems and made field tests for systems up to 5KVA.
1996
Showcased its first ONLINE UPS System of 10 KVA rating and introduced the DU series range from 1KVA to 20KVA rating to the market. Even today, DU Series UPS Systems are considered as one of the most reliable UPS Systems for Indian operating conditions. Though technology has advanced substantially in the later series of systems from Dubas, there are still a quite number of customers vouching and demanding only DU series models. DU series has proved as one of the most successful reliable model in Indian market, with several clones reportedly seen offering the dubas equivalents.
1997
Year of Pokhran Nuclear Testing by India. Aeronautical Development Agency placed an order on Dubas for supply of 400 Hz Power supply system as a part of developing indigenous vendor for frequency converters. Dubas successfully developed the product at 3KVA and 7.5 KVA rating. It was a stepping stone for Dubas to seriously develop host of products for Defence applications.
Designed and delivered a 45 KVA single phase output UPS System to a software development organization. This was an instance of one of the very few Indian companies getting into design and manufacturing higher rating UPS Systems with indigenous technology.
1998
Dubas migrated from Transistor to IGBT as switching device in UPS System. Dubas was one of the early users of IGBT in the Indian scenario. Delivered its first 3 phase output UPS System of 30 KVA rating for a Medical equipment. This was a landmark installation for Dubas which was followed by hundreds of UPS Systems across several Hospitals.
1999
Supplied 1000 KVA Servo controlled Voltage stabilizer to M/s. Sesa Goa Ltd for their mining application.
Designed and delivered several 400 Hz Frequency converters to Indian Defence organizations.
2000
Dubas became an OEM supplier of UPS Systems to M/s. Wipro GE Medical systems and eventually supplied hundreds of UPS systems at various Hospitals across India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Supplied 80 KVA 3 phase systems to ALCATEL Software development center.
Dubas also started its activities to shift to Digital Control from the existing Analog control. This was the beginning of the DSP based system for Dubas.
2001
Dubas delivered a 200KVA CVCF system to erstwhile Sathyam Computers Ltd., for an application in Motor Testing facility at Hyderabad. A large installation by all standards in CVCF / UPS rating.
Supplied a 120KVA UPS System to M/s. ALCATEL for their Data Center.
Supplied 10KVA Industrial Inverter of 48VDC / 3 phase system for load testing 48VDC SMPS systems at Electronics system manufacturing facility of TVS Electronics Ltd.
2002
Dubas introduced the IGBT based PWM AC-DC conversion for UPS Systems. This was a breakthrough technology in Indian power electronics arena. The system offered great advantages to the users reducing input harmonics drastically and improving the input Power factor to near unity. Dubas installed over 225 systems of 3KVA and 5KVA across Karnataka state as a single supplier. Through the 12 years of operation, these systems saved huge amount of power and costs and proved its utility beyond doubt.
Dubas was qualified by ERICSSON Quality Team for supply of Power conditioner (Servo stabilizer with Isolation Transformer) for Ericsson sites for India as well for all African countries. Dubas supplied over 400 units of 20KVA systems to Ericsson factory, Sweden, which were deployed at 400 sites in Nigeria by Ericsson, Sweden.
Designed and delivered several 400 Hz Frequency converters to Indian Defence organizations.
2003
Successfully implemented DSP Control systems in all UPS Systems, 1 Phase and 3 Phase systems and introduced GX Series of UPS Systems. GX series has become a hallmark of product versatility in every envisaged application of UPS System.
Dubas passed the stringent vibration tests and Water immersion tests for its range of railway underslung Inverters and got empaneled by M/s. Integral Coach factory for 2.5KVA and 5KVA systems.
Built the first 45 KVA Frequency Converter with Front end PWM rectifier
2004
Started supplying redundant configured ( Hot standby and parallel) UPS Systems in various ratings. Installed the 2x20KVA Inverter system for one of the most critical installation at DHRUVA REACTOR, Bhabha Atomic Research Center, Trombay. Supplied a 2000 Hz UPS System for a machine load, a very unique installation.
Built a Four Quadrant 45 KVA Frequency Converter of 50 Hz to 400 Hz or 400 Hz to 50 Hz conversion in a single system with input and output interchangeability. This demonstrated Dubas technological capability for building specialized Defence power systems and paved the way for many such complex installations in the following years.
2005
Got empaneled as a vendor by Engineers India Ltd, the premier consultant for Oil & Gas installations.
Supplied a 100 KW, 300 Hz – 800 Hz, variable voltage power converter to M/s. Honeywell for their Avionics testing Lab.
Supplied a 20KVA , 1500V,800 Hz system to Central Mechanical Research Institute.
2006
# Supplied a 7.5 KW PWM controlled AC-DC converter with 300 Hz-800 Hz input to M/s. International rectifier USA. # Installed SMPS based industrial battery Chargers for the Oil Pipeline of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd., covering 46 installations through the pipeline length. Eventually, dubas has done several similar installations for various Oil / Gas Pipeline projects.
“Designed and installed a sensor less starter to start a Permanent Magnet Alternator as a motor for a prestigious Defence project. This equipment was 45 KVA rating, to operate from a wide frequency (1600Hz to 2000 Hz) to provide 400Hz power supply. This equipment was made water cooled to meet the dimensional requirements.”
2007
Installed multiple numbers of 200 KW DC power systems at Atomic Research centers powering Mission Critical installations.
Installed SEISMICALLY TESTED 75KW and 100 KW 250V DC system for Nuclear Power Corporation at Narora Plant. Through the following 3 years, dubas received repeat order for the same equipment.
2008

Installed Parallel redundant UPS Systems of 20 KVA to 40 KVA range at various Power Generating stations at Volta River Authority, Ghana. This was won against stiff international competition
2009
Developed 15 KVA 400 Hz frequency converter for AKASH Missile Launcher. This Power supply had to meet a challenging dimensional need of the customer and meeting the extreme operating conditions and MIL compliances.
Developed the first 45 KVA Variable Speed Generator for the Missile Ground Power Application, for deployment with BrahMos Missile Launcher. BrahMos is one of the important Super Sonic missile system used by Army, Air force as well Navy. Eventually dubas has supplied several systems of this range for BrahMos Launcher deployment.
2010
Hundreds of Secure AC UPS Systems and DC systems installations progressively through the years and approval by major consultants and users positions Dubas as a critical vendor among major process industries, Power stations, Oil and gas installations as well in manufacturing industries.
2011
Installed UPS Systems and DC Systems for Bangalore Metro Rail project.
“Installed Seismically Qualified UPS systems at Nuclear establishments for powering critical installations.”
Installed several Battery Chargers of rating 75KW to 275KW for Nuclear Power generating station. All systems were Seismically Qualified by actual tests.
2012
Installed and commissioned 3000 KVAR Dynamic Reactive Power Compensation Equipment (DRPCE) for Railway Substation for Power Quality improvement. This is built with Paralleling of 9 numbers of IGBT based 200 KVAR converter units and connecting them in hybrid with a 1200 KVAR fixed compensation. This is one of the foremost Dynamic compensation system for Traction substations.
Installed and commissioned a Grid Linked ERBDU (Electronic Regenerative Battery Discharge Unit) for battery discharge tests. ERBDU discharges the battery in a programmed voltage and current back to the Utility source. The supplied unit was rated for 48V to 300V, capable of discharging a 2400AH battery bank back to the utility source in a programmed basis. System rating built was of 200 KW capacity.
