VSG – Variable Speed generators

Dubas pioneered and introduced the breakthrough technology for the Defence for providing POWER ON MOVE.

Dubas VSG is a special power supply system for providing power in moving vehicle applications. The units are specifically designed for Defence applications.

The system involves tapping the Engine power of the vehicle through a Permanent Magnet Alternator and converting this wild frequency, wild voltage power into a useable 50 Hz or 400 Hz power for vehicle mounted defence systems.

Further, in the vehicle, a redundancy scheme is built using a separate Engine and a Permanent Magnet Alternator with full redundancy of the power converter modules. The system is also further backed up with Battery bank to provide critical back up for transfer period as well as during non- availability of Engine fuel.

• Built in a containerized format with all power building blocks and accessories.
• Power racks are built on state of the art technology employing PWM for both AC-DC and DC-AC conversion with DSP based Digital Control.
• Overall system is block modular in construction with module based spares management.
• Sub-assemblies are tested for all defence standard compliances including EMI /EMC as per MIL standards and Vibration and Environment tests in line with JSS 55555 standards.
• The whole container is compliant to Defence standard tests with roadability compliances.
• System is fully protected for an outdoor installation.
